Like, 3000 miles in one week kind of lengths???
We are baaaaack...lol....
What a great week, sunshines! Cali, Colorado, and back home. LOTS of miles, and lots of memories, too. Unfortunately, not enough time for all we did, wow. Got to spend time with Randy's family, and even got to go into Frisco for the afternoon, which was bonus for ME. I LOVE Frisco!!! *sigh* My bro-in-law is a great tour guide, lol. Thanks, Rob!
We had a great time, no doubt. Even got home early, so we had plenty of restin' up time, yesterday. That was unexpected. Usually we run "late" on everything, but decided it was worth the effort to get home early. That meant we had to go all out on driving... well, Randy did, anyhoo... we did 1600 miles in 48 hours, OMG,and we didn't even get grumpy with each other, and that is a MIRACLE!!! Things *do* get different....
We didn't get remarried this trip. All of his family wants to be able to be there, because they weren't the first time. (Long story... *wink*). It caused some hurt feelings. So, we are going to have a real wedding, with invitations, rings and a cake and EVERYTHING. In October. Weird thing is, THAT makes me very nervous. I'm too old to have a wedding... ugh. Anyway, we are going to do this the "right" way, instead of just running off and THEN telling everyone what we have done. Duh.
I do love "normal" people. Thank GOD we have them in our life! They are a constant reminder of how things are "supposed" to be done, LMAO!!!
Anyhoo, we are back, I missed you all, and I am so happy to be home...
Keep the faith-
Dawn

LOL!
Whenever anyone asks my hubby how he is doing, he ALWAYS answers "ABnormal..."!
It's great to have a place where we "fit", ya know???
And evergreen, since I couldn't afford a material gift, I'll give you this one...
AA is still alive and well in Cali! At least in Northern Cali...
The group we went to in Vacaville was AWESOME!!! The people there do it the "old fashioned" way, OMG. It was so very cool to just sit and listen to people in the fellowship who "GOT IT". We don't have much of that round here in our area... *sigh*. So, to be able to go to AA meetings and hear THE message of AA was so refreshing, lol... and the after the meeting meeting was even better. There were a few oldtimers around, that we were privileged to talk with. ALOT of our oldtimers here in our area have passed the last 2 years... very sad, because so much of our fellowship really depended on them for THE message. It's a real problem here...
ANYhoo!
I am glad to be back, I missed my FOB BFFs BAAAAD, LOL!
