Hello to all, what a great day! iam thankful because yesturday was 8mos for me and i got off of my proation conditions and last last night my husband said to me that he was happy with me and everything that it took me to get where im at today. that was good to hear, because i allways thought he held it agaist me that i started to drink.. thank God for what has been a big change in my life...

still sober
hello everyone, it's been a while since i wrote or checked this site. I have been real buzy, back in school got a job and dealing with my teenage duaghter and all her end of the year stuff. life is full and i'm loving it. I'll never forget what someone wrote to me on this site, I just got my 30 days chip and they said now i'll never have to ask for it again. thank you!!!! :) now everytime someone ask for their 30 days chip I remember that and I tell them that now they never have ask for it again… Continue

I'm sorry you met a sponsor that wasn't more helpful to you. but, what I believe is relapse is part of recovery that's how we grow from our mistakes. when we come back in the rooms sorry for what weve done and feeling ashamed for going back out. you need to stick with the winners that will help you and accept you back in the rooms. when I read your blog I was appalled by what you were exsperiencing. my personal opinion I would find a sponsor that's not going to enable you but, help you through the hard days. keep the faith and the hope that you can do this with the help of these rooms and a higher power of your chose. nancy
