I just read "More About Alcoholism" again. It helps me to read about "the great obsession of every abnormal drinker..."
Some people don't make it back Mary. Remember your worst drunk. That helps me. May God envelope and keep you!
I got to nurse my child all thru the night last night while she had a Norovirus...because I'm sober today. Thank God for AA!

I've heard that the difference between a "rut" and a grave is the ends. I've found that to change tools I have to let loose of one before reaching for another.
By unclenching my fist, opening my hands, and reaching for help through AA, I am able to pick up several tools offered through working this program.
