I like your "Shut the F*** Up" post in your BB. It reminded me when I had a throat issue and was unable to speak. My sponsor told me that was God's way of telling me to "Shut the F*** Up & Listen."

Hi Janet, I'm glad you liked the message in Don't Sweat the Small Stuff. It can always be worse. It is taking some time for my youngest daughter (age19) to come around after my last relapse. My eldest daugher (age 21) is just very happy that I'm back stronger than ever. Hope all is well with you as you (we) follow God's guidance in life.
Hugs from Peter

Most things are going well here and those things that aren’t going so well I patiently await God’s guidance. I try to learn something EVERY day and with God’s guidance use what He feels fits me. If I still have issues I try to just filter the rest in my brain for future consideration and wait for His guidance. As I like to call it, “I put it in queue”. (In terms of computer language, queue is the sequence of work that is waiting to be processed and completed…. lol) I TRY to keep an open mind for His new ideas / concepts in directing my life and my work. So far I haven’t “crashed n’ burned” too often as I try to keep moving along and upward by getting my butt to AA-meetings nearly every night, talking to my sponsor or other recovering Alcoholic EVERY day and following the 12-Steps.
I try not to sweat the small stuff in life.
One of my favorite books is “Don't Sweat the Small Stuff...and It's All Small Stuff: Simple Ways to Keep the Little Things from Taking Over Your Life” by Richard Carlson 1997- As one of the reviews of this book puts it, “This inspiring little book will relax you and help you transcend all stress and worry.”
Amongst other versions of this “Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff…” series, there is also a “for Women” version, a “for Teens” version, a “for Families” version, and a “Workbook” available. For those that decide to read this, I’m sure you will get something positive out of it and hope you enjoy.
Hugs from Peter N’ Blessings from God
