Hey Monika! Thanks so much for the posts! I love your enthusiasm. I'm just grateful to be sober and willing to get better. I have been sober for over 14 years and have been rocketed into the fourth dimension that Bill talks about. I have also had to suit up and show up and wait through the rough going that came my way. What I have learned is that I am in the continual process of finding out about my old ideas that are still there and asking God to remove them. I trust AA and believe in it with all my heart......don't always trust God but I haven't ever lost faith in AA and for that I am grateful. Have been stuck in a spiritual hallway for quite some time now and am asking for the gift of surrender.

HEY! Ottumwa! That's where "Radar" was from! You're ALMOST famous! (wink!) KEWL! (I also like Slipknot, who are from Iowa, but I don't know which part.) Oh, and LOOK! We have almost the same birthday! My first sobriety date was 9/23/96. My second (cough! cough!) sobriety date is 9/23/2002. It was a Monday BOTH TIMES!!! Anyhoo. . .
