Drank all I could for nearly 28 years except for 2 days when I was in Military Hospital with very severe food poisoning(Montezuma's Revenge) which I got from dirty beer glasses in the wet canteen. Drank my way through the gates of insanity, never stopped to read the label, and ended up at death's door, by a series of "coincidences I arrived at the door of my local AA meeting....thank God.

Giving it away.
I was feeling tired and a bit worn down this afternoon and perhaps could even say a wee bit depressed.
Then the phone went, it was Chris a sponsee of mine who has just "come back". He asked if I was going to a meeting ( I don't usually go on Monday night) and could he come to my place on his motor bike and ride with me to the meeting.

Today
Today I will delete from my diary two days: yesterday and tomorrow.
Yesterday was to learn and tomorrow will be the consequence of what I can do today.
Today I will face life with the conviction that this day will not ever return.
Today is the last opportunity I have to live intensely, as no one can assure me that I will see tomorrow's sunrise.
Today I will be brave enough not to let any opportunity pass me by,my only alternative is to succeed.
